1. Who is responsible for your data

David Okandeji, a sole proprietorship (eenmanszaak) based in Limburg, The Netherlands, is the controller of your personal data. Contact: do@davidokandeji.com, +31 (0)6 2914 7727.

2. What data we collect

Contact details (name, email, phone, company, job title); the content of your messages; and business and billing details when you become a client. We do not process special categories of personal data.

3. Why we use your data and on what legal basis

Responding to your question or meeting request — steps you asked for before a possible contract, or our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries (Art. 6(1)(b) / 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Delivering our advisory services — performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).

Invoicing and bookkeeping — legal obligation under Dutch tax law (Art. 6(1)(c)).

Keeping in touch with business contacts about relevant services — legitimate interest; you can object at any time (Art. 6(1)(f)).

4. Who we share your data with

We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers who need it: our website host, email and office software, our accountant, and — only with your permission — potential partners in The Netherlands, Belgium and France for introductions you asked for. Data processing agreements are in place where required.

5. Transfers outside the EU

Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. In that case we rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. How long we keep your data

Enquiries that don't lead to a collaboration: 2 years after last contact.

Client files and correspondence: 2 years after the collaboration ends.

Invoices and financial records: 7 years (Dutch fiscal retention obligation).

7. Cookies

This website does not use tracking or analytics cookies. Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your IP address is sent to Google when the page loads.

8. Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures, including HTTPS, password-protected accounts and two-factor authentication where available.

9. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict and object to the processing of your data, to data portability, and to withdraw your consent. Send requests to do@davidokandeji.com. We answer within one month and may verify your identity.

10. Complaints

Please contact us first. You may also file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).

11. Changes

We may update this statement. The latest version is always on this page.
